Abstract | We propose an architecture to build a3 0 modeler for aiding new shape creation. The proposed method applies a technique called interactive evolutionary computation ((EC) lo automatic generation and de...formation of geometric models. Because the system evolves 3D models by using genetic algorithm, the user only needs to rate the evolved shapes by assigning fitness values based on his/her subjective preference. A set or the simulated evolution and the user's subjective rating is iterated until he/she gets a satisfactory result. We also describe subjective tests to discuss gains and losses of the proposed method.show more |
