The Japanese Government in going to form many FTAs with Asian coutries. The negosiations will be facilitated at the sacrifice of low-tariff agricultural priducts. However, we should examine carefully possible samages to producers of low-tariff agricultural products. From this viewpoint, we estimated effects of eliminating pimento tariffs only for Korea by forming the Japan-Korea FTA. The results sugegst that we should innore possible damages to domestoc pimento produces in Japan.
