Abstract |
Effects on a 42.5 km overnight walk blood and urine components were investigated in 19 healthy boys. The results were as follows : 1) Decrement tendency of blood glucose was found, but was not signifi...cant. 2) Serum concentration of the creatinine, FFA and Urea increased after the walk and signicant correlation between difference in serum FFA and Urea concentration was observed before and after (r=0.590, P<0.05). 3) GOT, LDH and CPK increased immediately after the walk, especialy LDH-3,-4 and CPK-3. 4) Red cells, Hb and MCHC did not change significantly, but white cells increased significantly and have significant correlation with urinary adrenaline excretion (r=0.590, P<0.05). 5) Increment tendency of K, Ca, Mg was found. 6) Some correlation between % change of blood catecholamine, urinarv catecholamine excretion per minute, CPK (CPK-3), LDH (LDH-4,-5), and some other blood components were found. 7) Urinary catecholamine excretion was correlated with the performance of the teams. It can be an index for exercise intensity, being affected by the energy equipment rate. According to the above mentioned results, it was thought that the over night walk induced large muscle stress in boys. An increase of catabolism of lipid and proteine in the muscle during the walk. Correlations between blood, urinary catecholamine, CPK, and LDH were found. It was thought these changes were influenced by catecholamine.show more
