Abstract |
The early theorists and researchers who argued about autism clarified a lot of characteristics of children with autism. However, majority of works do not get perspective autism while integrating the e...ach evidence. This paper argued about relevance of self/other understanding and socio-emotional understanding in autism. In other words, this paper aims to make clear the relevance between the disorder about emotion understanding and the acquisition of self/other knowledge in autism. At first, it reviews of a theory and the present conditions of a study on autism, and propose the problems in this domain. Next, while compared with evidence for the typically development children, the characteristic of self-understanding in autism was described. Furthermore, peculiarity of emotion understanding in autism was explained. In addition, attempts is made to shed new light concerning some topics on autism by theoretically bridging the gaps among relationships, self/other understanding and understanding of mind while introducing a serial experiments by the writer.show more
