概要 |
From October 2003 to February 2004, a 15-week-long online Bioethics & Medical Ethics education was conducted. Those who took as an elective course Bioethics & Medical Ethics at Kyushu University were ...mostly the first-year students. The topics of the online (WebCT) course included the "principles of Bioethics & Medical Ethics", "life and death issue", "physician-patients relationship", "respect for person", and so forth. A couple of instructors put the materials on the web, asked students to read them, and hold an achievement test, giving the only one question to be answered within a week. The lecture that combined the character, the voice, and the image with the one-sided lecture plan that had been held when current bioethics & Medical Ethics was educated, and used the online (WebCT) was executed. KOO-Young-Mo educated students through the online called SNU (http: webclass.snu.ac.kr), using as educational software developed by the Center for Teaching and Learning. SNU has a web board for discussion, where students positively exchanged their opinions with each other. This experiment through the Web proved to be very useful. It is recommendable to make more use of WebCT in Bioethics & Medical Ethics education at Kyushu University.続きを見る
