Abstract Despite decreasing annual mortality rates in India, infant mortality (1999) is approximately 20 times greater while perinatal mortality of women is 100 times greater than that of Japan. Indian women a...re historically oppressed in the caste system, literacy and health care standards are low. (In light of this, the government has aggressively implemented maternal health measures as the importance from this perspective of health need be considered. ) This report is focused on the study of (inflicted) injury caused by Violence during pregnancy in Indian women.show more
