| Abstract |
This paper is a comparative analysis of social welfare under the conditions of relative investment of rent-seeking, other profit-seeking, and simultaneous mixed wasteful investment undertaken under un...certainties of the future. It shows that a clearer Cournot-Nash equilibrium of Pareto-inferior results due to a generation of social loss rather than social surplus in investment in the wasteful sectors in competition with identical agents in society.show more
