Abstract | We introduce two applications of interactive evolutionary computation (IEC) to emotion control and MEMS design and two IEC interface researches for reducing user fatigu...e by introducing user's evaluation characteristics. The first IEC application is motion control that controls physical movie parameters to control physiological response of a human viewer. We introduce the idea of extended IEC that optimizes target physical parameters based on physiological data. The second IEC application is MEMS design that combines multi-objective genetic algorithms (MOGA) and IEC to use both auto-design function of MOGA and human experience and domain knowledge for the design. We also propose a method for increasing the precision of learning IEC user's evaluation characteristics to reduce user fatigue and a method to use evaluation characteristics of other users until user's evaluation characteristics are learnt.show more |
