Abstract | “Himawari project" is an art-project and it established in 2006 by Katayama Masahito who is an artist, and “KUKL” which is an artistic group mainly composed of students of Katayama laboratory, Kyushu ...University. This project present making himawari (sunflowers) field at Ohori-park in Fukuoka with neighbors, users and the management office of Ohori-park. Recently, arts have become tools achieve some purpose not only being appreciated. Most of art-projects try to make the relationship between arts and people, arts and nature, arts and towns. These days, the ties of local community became weak and it is a big problem for our society. “Himawari project” tries to connect different age s and various people to make the local-related-community through the process of agriculture; cultivating, seeding, blooming the flower and harvest the seeds. This paper reports the outline of “Himawari project" and what had happened in the four years, and aims to present the realities and view for the future.show more |
