| Abstract | This paper presents an interactive pencil sketch interface based on actual pencil and paper data. The data are captured from actual pencil strokes apperaring on irregular paper surfaces, these are dra...wn in some kinds of pressure, pencil hardness and drawing frequency. The eraser is also implemented as inverse effect. This interactive sketch operation from tablet, each strokes are converted to pencil drawing pattern based on the texture database in realtime. In the experiements, the graphite adheres to the paper according to the pencil pressure, hardness and paper surface irregularities. And the result of repetitive inting/erasing shows the density gradually increased /decreased, similar to an actual pencil and eraser.show more |
