松平頼暁《ピアニストのためのアルロトロピー》の作曲技法分析

概要 This is a short paper as a part of the study on Yori-AkiMatsudaira who is a contemporary Japanese music composer. In this paper, I pay special attention to the technique of “quotation (collage/combine...)” that Matsudaira uses in his work. Influenced in the “combined arts” by Robert Rauschenberg, an American pop artist, Matsudaira composed the work in which he used the technique of “quotation (collage/combine)” for the first time in 1967. This technique became one of the most important elements of his composition thereafter. In this paper, I examine Matsudaira’s “Allotropy I Pianist", which was composed in 1970. In this piece, repeated blows how to play of a piano becomes an element for standardizing a work. With that in mind, Chopin’s “Prelude No. 15 Op. 28 15” is quoted as the most famous work for which repeated blows were used. A fragment of Prelude by Chopin functions as an annotation of quotation with this piece. Matsudaira testifies that this is the reason he composed this work. In his opinion, this proves that even a popular piece music becomes difficult using the method of quotation. In studying this work, I mainly analyzed it from the perspective of composition theory. It became clear that this work held fairly well by much quotation as well as Chopin by catching an element of this work in context of “quotation.” In addition, I imitated complete collages such as the quotation of Chopin, the quotation of a composition style, a self, and the possibility that there was a hierarchy by a method of quotation appeared in quotation it in itself. In a study of this piece, I mainly analyzed a composition theory. It became clear that this piece used a lot of quotation as well as Chopin by thinking about elements of this piece in the context of "quotation.” In addition, this paper does not go into much details regarding the possibility of the hierarchical structur due to the abovementioned quotation method, and the inspection from a viewpoint of semiology/aesthetics of the quotation of a piece composed by Matsudaira. I want to that these points assume it a future problem. It is the first step toward a future study, and this paper serves as the first interim report続きを見る
