| 概要 | The aim of this research is to clarify the developments and changes related to the floor sitting style, chair sitting style and the co-existing floor and chair sitting style, through the daily life st...yle scenes that occured in movies that were produced after the Second World War. For movies that were released as DVDs, those after the year 2000 were plentiful but those that were produced after the Second World War, as a whole, were not necessarily exhaustive. However, in this research, 303 movie titles were able to be collected. These movies were arranged and grouped into a 5year period starting from 1945, and then categorized into 3 categories namely, floor sitting style, chair sitting style and co-existing floor and chair sitting style. As a result, the floor sitting style did not follow a gradual decline but the peak of decline occurred in 2 periods, between 1965-1969 and between 1985-1989 respectively. For western-style rooms with flooring after 1989, a phenomenon in which a slight increased in floor sitting style could be observed. In Japanese lifestyle where chair sitting style had been adopted, those that were solely chair sitting style were fewer than expected. Thus, the co-existing floor and chair sitting style will increase slightly in the time to come.続きを見る |
