概要 | Certain historical material that guesses the origin of music is archeological remains dug out from the soil. Musicologist's concern is turned to the instrument and music at prehistory as the research ...of excavated music relic has been advanced. Therefore, the research area "music archeology" has recently developed. Also in Japan general concern for musical instruments at prehistory is rising. The purpose of this report is to discuss some problems of this field while tracing previous works. There seems to be some differences in progress and the acknowledgment level of the field among Japan, China, and South Korea. Though excavated instruments in Japan are chiefly discussed in this report, those in China and South Korea are also referred as much as possible. A deliberate study by Kasahara and a systematic study by Yamada are thought advanced results of this field. However, a new excavation comes one after another and the up-to-date information in this field is being rewritten every year. Information of excavated instruments not collected to the same books that had been found in recent years is referred. Kyushu and Fukuoka seem to play a major role in the field. A lot of small bronze and iron bell-shaped vessels are found recently in northern part of Kyushu, though it has been said that the bronze bell-shaped vessel was rarely made there. Information on excavated instruments in Fukuoka district was described a little in detail.続きを見る |
