Abstract |
This study focuses on two advanced cases of public wooden facilities in case of split order and consider their mutual influences in respect to the change of quantity of timber procurement and wooden f...acilities design process. As a result further findings are revealed. 1) The survey that investigated the tracking of changes in volume of timber suggested that obtained findings could serve as reference data to estimate the required amount of timber in the planning process. 2) The decision of required amount of timber and public procurement and provision processes are regulated during the planning process. Since the planner can not influence on time when lumbering will be performed, project scheduling becomes extremely important. 3) It is required to be flexible in case that the required amount of timber is not clear and bearing in mind possibility of additional cost of purchase.show more
