The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between perceived motivational climates in athletic clubs and satisfaction, it was focusing of social support reciprocity in university athlet...ic clubs. The participants were 215 university students (male: n=149, female: n=66, mean age=19.30±1.16 years). The measures included a questionnaire regarding motivational climates in sport scales ( 5 sub scales: coach's promotion of task orientation, cooperation, recognition, coach's promotion of performance orientation, and competition), satisfaction for athletic club climate scales, and providing and receiving social support scales. Participants were classified into 3 types (underbenefited type: n=56, reciprocity type: n=73, overbenefited type: n=86) based on the providing and receiving social support scales score. We set a study model that the independent variable on motivational climates, and dependent variable on satisfaction. The analysis of study model was verified using multiple regression analysis (stepwise) by every 3 types. The results of study suggested the following processes: ①The coach' s promotion of task orientation and cooperation had a positive influence on satisfaction for athletic club climate (underbenefited type). ②The cooperation and recognition had a positive influence on satisfaction for athletic club climate (reciprocity type). ③The cooperation and recognition had a positive influence on satisfaction for athletic club climate ( overbenefited type).続きを見る
