Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to follow the educational effect on graduates of the Nursing Department of Kyushu University School of Health Sciences. Questionnaires about nursing activities have been s...ent to eighty graduates at ten year after graduation, of whom 57 graduates have answered. Forty-four of 57(77.2%) have still kept nursing activities. As for nursing activities thirty - seven of 57(64.9%) have been engaged in clinical nursing including public health nurse, midwife and nursing teacher. Two have studied in advanced course for nursing. Five have worked at home for child health and education, and studied for special course as ambulance. Most of the graduates appreciate the education of Alma Mater to keep their activities and they hope to be filled up from 3 year's course to 4 year's.show more
