Abstract |
The present paper deals with 12 species reared from galls of the chestnut gallwasp, Dryocosmus kuriphilus Yasumatsu, a serious pest of chestnut trees in Japan. Five new species, Torymus benejicus, Meg...astigmus nipponicus, M. macu-lipennis, Ormyrus flavitibialis, and Eurytoma schaeferi, are described. Sycophila variegata (Curtis) is recorded from Japan for the first time. Host records other than D. kuriphilus are also given for all species.show more
