Notes
The functional responses of Trichogramma chilonis and T. ostriniae were investigated by offering the eggs of Ephestia kuehniella and Plutella xylostella as host. The results are summarized as follows: 1. The percentage parasitism by each parasitoid increased as the host density increased, then reached to the maximum, as thereafter decreased. 2. The sex ratio of female progeny of each parasitoid ranged from 0.64 to 0.92 in all host densities. 3. No significant difference in the functional response of T. ostriniae to host densities was observed according to host species.
TrichogrammachilonisとT.ostriniaeの機能の反応を,スジコナマダラメイガ卵とコナガ卵を供試して調査した.結果を要約すると以下の通りである.1.寄生率(寄生数/寄主密度)は寄主密度の増加に応じて始め増加し,ある密度で最高になった後に低下した.2.両寄生蜂の次世代の羽化雌率は,全区で0.64～0.92の範囲であった.3.寄主密度に対するT.ostriniaeの機能の反応は,寄主の相違によって変わることはなかった.
