Abstract	The Nei-ku 内庫 of the T'ang dynasty was inaugurated in the period of Hsüan-tsung 玄宗 and lasted down to the Chao-tsung 昭宗, but its function was not the same all the time. During the period of Hsüan-tsun...g the system was under direct control of the Imperial household. The trend of central government's Fan-chen 藩鎮 check became very severe from the period of Hsien-tsung 憲宗, and Nei-ku was increased in number accordingly, and a role of securing financial sources for the central government was newly added to its function. This was the special feature enjoyed by Nei-ku during the T'ang dynasty.show more
