The present writer reviewed the lkki's letters on the Revolution of 1911 in China (Hsin Hai Ko Ming) addressed to Ryohei Uchida in "The SHIEN" (Aug. 1971). In this issue the writer made a further revi...ew of his 36 telegrams during the Revolution, which were sent to Ryohei Uchida for five months from October, 1911 to the next march. These telegrams show the fact that Kita was closely connected with Sun Chiao Jên during the Revolution. Several points on the telegrams are note-worthy. (1) The early process of the Revolution in which both Kita and Sun participated with the same standpoint. (2) The fact that Kita had taken the initiative to the revolutionary army in the early stages of the Revolution. (3) The advices and comments which Kita gave on the foreign policy of Japan. (4) Kita's serious desire to establish the "epochmaking" friendship between Japan and China through his advices and comments; and Kita's political intention to remove the colonial rule of England to China. Further the writer should like to add that he contributed to this issue the unpublished data, including that Mitsui Products Company (MITSUI BUSSAN K.K.) granted a loan of 300, 000 to the revolutionary army in China.続きを見る
