Abstract	This work is concerned with the que-chang 榷場 trade between Bei-Song and Liao Empires. This thesis is consists of four sections. The first subjects to be treated are nine rules on trade and the differe...nce between the zhao-gong 朝貢 and the que-chang trade. The second chapter contains a reference to the relation between the que-chang trade and the transit trade that gain control of the dependence on trade. The third chapter deals with the circulation of silver and money on trade and the importance of the Annual Gifts that Bei-Song had given to Liao and had taken back as payment of trade. The fourth chapter concerns many problems on the que-chang trade, leading to the importance of the que-chang trade.show more
