Abstract This report analyzes the practice of the multilingual translation of school documents by international student volunteers, from the viewpoint of service learning (SL) which integrates volunteer activi...ties and learning activities. In a knowledge-based society where the quality of knowledge is emphasized rather than the amount of knowledge, expectations for learning activities that teach how to apply knowledge learned like SL in a social context is increasing. As a result of analyzing service and learning so far, we could propose a design plan for e-learning based learning activities that can circulate knowledge. Based on the above results, we believe that it is possible to plan a framework for considering organic connections such as the development of a multilingual environment, the training of foreign student talent, and the linkage between research and education.show more
