Abstract 最近の高校生は野外で遊んだ経験が少ない上に、学校では実業系を除き理科実験は殆ど行わずに、机上の学習に終始している。その様な時代と環境の中で育ち、試験に合格し入学してきた教員養成系の理科専攻や理・工学部の学生でさえ、ボタンやスイッチ操作をすることが実験だと思いこんでいる者もいる。この様な体験の少ない学生達から派生する各種トラブルを解決するため20年前から地域に出向いて色々な体験活動を行ったところ多く...の得るものがあった。ここではその活動内容や手法を紹介すると共に、それを行う際の支援の仕方や関わり方、これらを含めたプログラムのあり方、その効果や課題等について生涯学習と体験学習の観点から述べる。
Senior high school students these days have very few experiences of outdoor activity. Furthermore students, except for those at vocational high schools, are absorbed in book learning instead of conducting scientific experiments. Some science major students in a faculty of education and some in an engineering faculty, who have been brought up in such an environment and have even passed the entrance examination and entered a university,assume that to do a scientific experiment is merely to push a button or to operate a switch. In order to solve various troubles brought about by university students who have few such experiences, we have gained much by visiting local areas these twenty years and having our students conduct experiencing activities.Together with introducing the contents and the method of those activities, we wi11 describe how to support them from the points of view of lifelong learning and experiencing learning. We will also describe how we can concern ourselves with training their leaders and persons capable of bringing together leaders and children. We shall examine what those programs including these items should be and the efforts and the tasks needed for those activities.
