| Abstract |
The underground temperature is very steady throughout the year compared with the outside temperature. In winter it is higher than the outside temperature, and in summer it changes lower than the outsi...de temperature, so the high COP(coefficient of performance) values is obtained in case of ground source heat pump systems. When underground heat is collected by using the ground source heat pump, a deep bore hole is needed and the bore hole drilling cost in Japan is more expensive than the other countries.
