It has been 11 years since ESCO businesses in Japan started in 1996. From the beginning, ESCO was placed as useful countermeasures cope with global warming, and was supported by government. In this pa...per, we describe key features of the ESCO market, and the process of how to develop ESCO market. Progress of 11 old years is very significant when verifying conditions until new energy-saving service is budded and established.
