Abstract |
In this study, it was investigated that the relationship between the amount of void ratio composed of powder, such as coal ash and cement particles, and mixing water affects to the consistency and the... maximum coal ash content of concrete using large quantity of coal ash. The main conclusions are as follows. 1)Effect of the relationship between the amount of void ratio and mixing water on consistency of mortar or paste using coal ash was quantitatively discussed, and it is possible to estimate the content of coal ash to obtain the optimum consistency of concrete on the mix design. 2)It was substantiated that the maximum content of coal ash into concrete is approximately 900kg/m^3.show more
