Abstract	Kusumori tea factory is a water powered tea manufacturing facilities, built in Taisho period. The purpose of this paper is to reveal characteristics of the architecture and analyze functions of each s...pace as a case study of modem tea industry. This case study shows that the tea leaves were produced at specific facilities related to the process of steam, storage, quality check. And energy for those facilities were generated by one specific hydraulic mechanism.show more
