| Abstract |
The purpose of the present study is to catch the aspect of empathy from the relation to identity. Questionnaires were complicated by 216 university students. Result of Two-way Factorial ANOVA, focusin...g on emotional empathy, are presented below: Among both high and low emotional empathy group, participations who cannot establish identity showed strong anxiety, therefore identity has great influence. Among high emotional empathy group, there is a possibility of participants who cannot establish identity and have strong anxiety to empathize, but it is not clear from results of the present study. In addition, results of the present study suggested that empathy includes not only positive aspects but also an unstable aspect on the character. Because people who have high empathy are thought to be sensitive to emotion of others and as a result, they also response sensitively and have anxiety.show more
