Abstract |
This paper presents the dynamic model for estimation of evapotranspiration rate from rooftop lawn surface. In the dynamic model, not only meteorological conditions but also volumetric water contents o...f soil under the lawn are taken into consideration. The procedure for estimating eight parameters of soil by the inverse solution technique is also presented. Parameter identifications were performed using sum of squares of the differences between measured values of evapotranspiration rate and simulated ones. Regarding to surface temperatures, volumetric water contents of the soil and latent heat, numerical calculation results by the dynamic model using optimized parameters obtained from unsteady experiments results agreed well with measurement results.show more
