概要 |
The values for Ce-valences in Ce sulfates, Ce-oxide and Pd-Ce alloys were measured from the L3-XANES spectra. The XANES spectra were analyzed by a profile-fitting method with the standard assignments ...of the white lines. The valences of Ce in Ce(SO4)2nH2O and CeO2 were determined to be 3.43±0.06, 3.33±0.04, respectively, which are far small compared with those estimated from the compositions. The descrepancy may be due to many-body-electron effects. It was confirmed that the relative values for valence of Ce in Pd-Ce alloys can be determined within the accuracy of±0.01. The present analysis revealed that the Ce valence decreases with Ce concentration in Pd-Ce alloys and has the dependency on the degree of order in L-Pd5Ce.続きを見る
