Abstract 『遊仙窟』は七世紀後半に中国で書かれた第一人称小説である。古代中国では主人公が第一人称となって語られた小説には複雑な呼称が用いられる。その原因は古代漢語の文法的な特徴と関係がある。作品中のある登場人物は直接主人公に対して人称詞を用いて話しかけることもでき、その一方登場人物は同じ人称詞を用いて他の登場人物と会話することもできる。これこそが古代漢語においての、後に出現した近世漢語とは基本的に異なる用法...である。
You Xianku is a first-person novel written in the late 7th centl1ry China. The complex designations were used by the protagonist in ancient first-person narrative. The reason is related to grammatical features of Ancient Chinese. At that time a character in a story could talk to the protagonist directly by using the person-noun,o n the other hand the character c0111d talk to the other characters by l1sing the same person-noun. This is the typical usage of Ancient Chinese which is different from the vernacular Chinese that emerges in the later era.
