| Abstract |
美空ひばりの歌手としての誕生期は、第二次大戦後の占領期すなわち1945年9月から1952年4月までの時期と重なっている。誕生期のひばりにおいて特徴的なのは、占領期の歌謡映画で他人のオリジナル曲を歌っており、しかもそれが「真似ていながら、真似ではない」と評されていることである。そこにはヨーロッパの芸術論においてずっと議論されてきたコピーとオリジナルの問題が見てとれる。本稿で明らかにしようとするのは、...この問題が誕生期の美空ひばりにあっては相互補完的にひばりの歌それ自体に関わる固有のものではないかということである。第一章では誕生期のひばりにおける大人びた歌の上手さと少女という外見との不均衡から生じる異様さについて検証する。第二章では占領期の歌謡映画における美空ひばりの歌の独自性が、ひばりの歌の上手さとの関連から論じられる。第三章では誕生期のひばりにおけるコピーとオリジナルの問題が考察される。そこではコピーという概念の根源にあるミメーシスの概念にも言及される。いずれの章においても美空ひばりの歌を取り巻くさまざまな文化史的文脈あるいは人脈を考慮しながら論述することに力点が置かれる。
Misora Hibari (1937-89), one of Japan's best-known singers in the postwar years, began singing in 1949, when she was only 12 years old. She appeared in film for the first time at age 12. The first period of her musical activities overlaps with the occupation period from September 1945 to April 1952. Hibari sings songs of other established singers in many Japanese musical movies. Her performances fostered her reputation as one who doesn't imitate others, even as she imitates others. This apparently paradoxical reputation raises the problem of the copy and the original that has been much discussed in the theory of art in Europe. This paper attempts to show that the relation between the copy and the original in Hibari is not a dichotomous one, but one of complementarity. The first chapter examines disparities between the adult singing of Hibari and her girlish appearance in films; the second chapter discusses the characteristic elements of Hibari's singing in musical movies; and the third chapter considers the issue of copy and original in relation to the concept of mimesis that lies at the root of this problem.show more
