It is well known that the problem of multipath propagation arises in the tracking low-altitude targets with a monopulse radar and causes large bias error in the estimated altitude of the target. Since... the bias error caused by multipath propagation depends on a large number of parameters such as the frequency of the radar waveform, the actual target altitude, and range, it is difficult to estimate the bias errors. In this paper, we propose an altitude estimation method using particle filter and multipath propagation model. The performance of the proposed method is verified through computer simulations.続きを見る
