Abstract Dual subsonic stream flows which enter in a converging nozzle side by side are analyzed one-dimensionally, and the condition when the dual stream flow chokes at the nozzle exit is investigated. As the... result, it is made clear that the compound choking of the flow occurs when the compound-flow indicator becomes to be zero at the nozzle exit, and that at the compound choking condition one flow is supersonic and the other is subsonic.show more
