Its program a...ims to help young students to understand each other beyond borders, and to become global leaders through 'Campus Share' among US, Japanese, and Korean universities. It is administered by the Center for Korean Studies, Kyushu University and is supported by the special-grant from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), Japan. In the first year, six universities will operate a two-week program in collaboration with each other. Three are Japanese: Kyushu University, Kagoshima University, and Seinan Gakuin University, and three are Korean: Seoul National University, Yonsei University, and Pusan National University. Passing through the cities where the universities are located -Seoul, Pusan, Fukuoka, and Kagoshima- students will participate in various programs including special lectures in English, field trips, company internships, and other cultural experiences. Students will be able to have a perspective on the stability of East Asia through Japanese-Korean cooperation. In the second year, CAP will hold a three-week program in Hawaii with a total of seven participating universities including the University of Hawaii, with special lectures, field trips, business workshops, English presentations, international engagement among US, Japanese, and Korean students, and other cultural experiences.
