概要 |
In 'The Lake', Gimpei is represented many times in 'pursuit' of beautiful women. Here I investigate the meaning and necessity of the act of 'pursuit' through the relationship between the self, desire ...and the body, or the desiring self and eroticism. From the reaction of Gimpei, who greets every mention of 'beauty' with the word 'sorrow', I attempt to consider the relationship between Gimpei's 'guilt' and fantasies, analysing the relationship between the 'anxieties' of the Self and the Other. Finally, I analyse the confusion between Gimpei's reality and fantasy, the ambiguous difference between 'memory' and 'fantasy', and the nature of the 'fantastic' arising from the proximity between Gimpei and the narrator.続きを見る
