Oe Kenzaburo's "M/T and the Story of the Wonder of the Wood" restructures the myth of "The Contemporary Game" in that it follows an older legend-like style of story-telling, namely a story 'told the w...ay it was heard'. This story was negatively received for being simply a re-telling and transformation of the original tale. In this paper, I explore the possibility of another theme by analyzing the structure and effectiveness of the style used in "M/T and the Story of the Wonder of the Wood".続きを見る
