Abstract |
In previous research conducted on Nakajima, it has been noted that the keyword, "severe malice in this world" forms the basis of his views on "fate" which are often expressed in his literature. However, if we take into consideration the view Nakajima has expressed in his work "Eikyo", we can see that his thought has not just been restricted to "severe malice in this world" as he expresses in his work "Kozoku". In "Eikyo", which literally means "Waxing and waning", in other words, "rise and decline", he says that when we think about the fate of man we must think about it in much larger terms, i.e. in terms of a fate which transcends the fate of man.show more
