Abstract |
This is a case study of a trial of facilitator training for structured encounter group using the "Collaborative Method II". Six trainee facilitators each facilitated a structured encounter group (8 se...ssions, 90 minutes every week, in university campus) with an experienced facilitator, and the "collaborative method II " and "predecided-theme method" were introduced to the group. In this study, the group structure and the group process was described, and 3 points were discussed, (1)Characteristics of the "Collaborative Method II " compared with "Collaborative Method", (2)Facilitators' experiences of the "pre-decided-theme method", (3) Group supervision. We concluded that "Collaborative Method" is a useful training method for facilitator training for structured encounter group.show more
