Abstract |
We introduce a method to associate a tetrahedral structure to a triangular mesh in 3D space, which can then be used in shape deformation applications. Our method allows one to keep track of global geo...metry such as curvature while working locally on tetrahedra. We apply this method to give a shape blending algorithm based on the as-rigid-as-possible deformation scheme. An implementation and its MIT licensed source code is available online.show more
