| Abstract |
This paper deals with the examination of fossil brachiopods collected by the junior author（A. PILLEVUIT）during his field investigation for the study of the Oman Exotics in the Arabian Peninsula. Late ...Early to early Middle Permian brachiopod faunules were discriminated from 4 lacalities in the autochthonous or allochthonous units. As a whole 18 species among 15 genera, including 3 new species, are discriminated. Some fusulines and bryozoans which occasionally accompany brachiopods are also examined for the purpose of comparison of age and paleogeographic implication.show more
