Abstract |
In this study, we investigated the features of the Landscape Montage Technique (LMT) by analyzing the drawing time required for each LMT item. Forty-one university or graduate students participated in... this survey and completed drawings. They had no prior experience of the LMT. We measured the time required to draw each item using video data recorded for each participant. The results showed several features of LMT items specific to first-time LMT users. First, drawing the river item induced more stress in the drawer than any other item did. After finishing the river item, drawing time tended to common in each drawer. Drawers' reaction times varied throughout the drawing process. It was not until late in the drawing process that drawing time variations appeared among drawers.show more
