The purpose of this study was to examine the validity of the 1-day physical activity recall questionnaire in children. Subjects were 23 boys and 23 girls who are in sixth grade. In present study, the ...1-day physical activity recall questionnaire for children was developed. The questionnaire was designed for children to report the duration and type of physical activity they performed during the day. Subjects were asked to complete the questionnaire and to wear an accelerometer for 7 days. The validity of the questionnaire was evaluated by comparing the results to the scores on an accelerometer. The correlation between subjective duration of vigorous physical activity from the questionnaire and objective duration of vigorous physical activity measured by an accelerometer was found to be statistically significant(r=.329-531, p<.01-p<.05)in some of 7 days. The result indicated the 1-day physical activity recall questionnaire made in the present study could be applied to a limited.続きを見る
