Abstract 本研究では火山体におけるガリー侵食の発達プロセスを明らかにすることを目的としており,孤立峰火山体において放射状に発達したガリー侵食量の位置的変化を調べた.方向と標高こついての侵食量の位置的変化をもたらした条件としては降雨量分布,堆積層からの流出量分布,斜面平均傾斜角が,時間的な変化をもたらした条件としては火砕流堆積物によるガリーの埋積が分析されている.その結果,筆者らは地下構造のほかに山体中腹部で...の傾斜変化ゾーンと豪雨ゾーン(雨期)がガリー侵食の発達をもたらすことと,火砕流堆積物がガリーを埋積して地形を単純化させた後ふたたび急速な侵食をもたらすことを明らかにした.
It is important to clear the process of development of gully channels on volcanic slope, because of forecasting volcanic hazard and planning land utilization in long term. We analyzed the changes of cross section of gully channels to direction and altitude in order to clear the process of development of gully channels. The changes are related with spatial and temporal changes of geological conditions on mountain slope. The spatial changes are showed by rainfall distribution, discharges in dry season and rainy season at five gully channels and average gradient of mouiltain slope at five directions. Temporal change is showed in covering process by pyroclastic flow units and scouring process of gully channels. The results are as follows. The changes of cross section of gully channels at Mt. Merapi shows three characteristics, peak values of cross section in each directions, differential of the summation of cross section of gully channels. The some peak values are formed in a zone of changing average gradient of mountain slope, 1200m-1800m in altitude, and in a zone of maximum rainfall, more than 3500 mm/year. The changes of cross sections according to directions are formed in the covering area by recent pyroclastic flow units.
