2019年４月の「のるーと」サービス開始に向けて、使用車両のデザイン開発が行われた。「のるーと」はAI活用型オンデマンドバスサービスであり、公共交通を維持していく上での財政負担の軽減や、路線バスとタクシーによる交通を補完する交通手段として、また、運転手不足への対応策として期待されている。「のるーと」サービスで使用される車両開発においては、サービスの先進性や利用法をわかりやすく示すデザインを試みた。
...The vehicle was developed for “KNOWROUTE”, on-demand bus service launched in April 2019. It is expected to reduce the financial burden of public transportation, to complement the transportation by route buses and taxis, and to respond to the shortage of drivers.
