| 概要 |
近年急速に普及しているドローンなどのUAV（unmanned aerial vehicle，無人航空機）は生態学においても様々な場面で利用されており、その利用は今後益々拡大するだろう。本報告では、UAVの利便性を概説し、動物生態学、海洋生態学、植物生態学など様々な分野の研究者による8つの具体的な研究例をもとに、UAVの利用価値と今後の発展性について議論する。本報告は2024年3月に開催された日本生...態学会大会において開催したシンポジウム「UAVによって拡がる生態学」で発表した演者が文章を寄せ合ったものである。
Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) such as drones have rapidly gained popularity and are being used to study various aspects of ecology. This report summarizes the utility of UAVs and discusses their value and potential for future development, based on eight research examples from different fields, including animal, marine, and plant ecology. This report is a collection of contributions from presenters at the symposium ‘Emerging Ecology using UAVs,’ held at the annual meeting of the Ecological Society of Japan in March 2024.続きを見る
