Micro enterprise Development as a Strategy of Economic Independence for Starting from late 1980s, micro enterprise programs have grown rapidly in the United States. This study used an evaluative case...-study methodology to evaluate the ability of a micro enterprise program to enable women on welfare to become economically independent entrepreneurs. As an option of economic independence for women on welfare, the micro enterprise programs have great limitations. This paper provides suggestions to improve micro enterprise as a meaningful process out of poverty.続きを見る
