概要 Energy is of utmost importance in the United Nations' sustainable development goals, since it aids in promoting economic growth and societal progress. The disparity between the supply and demand of en...ergy necessitates the substitution of fossil fuels with renewable fuel technology. Gasification is in line with the United Nations' objectives of providing accessible and environmentally friendly energy. It provides a solution for effectively managing trash in rural areas and enables small-scale power generation using engines operating in single-fuel mode (SFM). Companies are investing in improving engine performance by utilizing low-calorific-value producer petrol in SFM to support sustainable rural lives. This paper analyses the operational factors that might enhance the quality of producer gas generated from different types of biomass gasifiers. Additionally, it investigates the utilization of various gas mixes for engines equipped with spark-ignition, fuel-injected, and compression-ignition systems. The proposal recommends implementing a hybrid system for the management of rural garbage, which would also generate electricity. The study discovered that steam gasification improves the composition of producer gas, but the low laminar flame speed of biogas can be attributed to its high level of CO2. By combining these gases, their drawbacks are eliminated, becoming them suitable for generating tiny amounts of power in rural regions. A hybrid plant that integrates biomass gasifiers and anaerobic digesters can effectively handle both solid and liquid waste while simultaneously generating a combustible gas mixture for power generation.続きを見る
