The Dynamics Model of the Waste Reduction to the Final Processing Site and Greenhouse Gas Emissions in Bogor City, Indonesia

概要 Increased waste generation is unavoidable, so an appropriate management system is needed. This research aims to predict the amount of waste reduction going into the Waste Final Processing Site (WFP), ...the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, and electricity generated with the support of waste treatment technology using a combination of hydro-drive incinerators and Organic Rankine Cycle turbines. This research in Bogor City-Indonesia used a systems thinking approach with system dynamics methods that simulate various waste management scenarios until 2048. Simulation results show the projected life of the Galuga Bogor WFP only until 2028 because of overload capacity. One of the recommended management scenarios for waste management is the waste treatment scenario with the combination of these technologies (5-6 units), and composter, temporary shelter of 3R (Reduce, Recycle, Reuse), and waste bank grow 1% per year (scen-2c) where the projected waste that can be reduced is 7,734,757 tons, the electricity generated is 149,760,000 kWh, and the reduction of CO2e emissions is 6,574,544 tons.続きを見る
