概要 |
Fluidized bed dryer is used for the drying process because it has a high rate of mass and heat transfer. The purpose of this study is to analyze heat and mass transfer caused by the inlet velocity of ...airflow. CFD was used to study hydrodynamic phenomena in modeling fluidized bed dryers. This study used Eulerian-Eulerian (gas-solid) multiphase approach and used laminar flow to examine the phenomenon of mass and heat transfer. The simulation varied the inlet velocity of air at 1.6, 1.8, 2.1, and 2.3 m/s with a constant temperature at 403 K. At the lowest velocity, 1.6 m/s, the solid-gas heat transfer coefficient is 344.2 W/m^2.K, and the coefficient of the mass transfer is 0.98×10^<-7> , while at the highest velocity, 2.3 m/s, the solid-gas heat transfer coefficient is 353.3 W/m^2.K and the coefficient of the mass transfer is 2.55×10^<-7> . The results of the analysis show that the tea drying rate will be higher if it has a high velocity.続きを見る
